O’Bryan is most often referred to as “The Man Who Killed Halloween”. On October 31, 1974, O’Bryan poisoned several treats, one of which ended up killing his own eight-year-old son. O’Bryan committed the crime in hopes of cashing in on an insurance police due to the death of his child. He was executed via lethal injection in March of 1984, and asked for a T-bone steak, french fries, corn, sweat peas, salad, iced tea, saltines, rolls, and a Boston cream pie as his final meal.
